Salman Khan's new film becomes another film to cross more than Rs 100-crore in 7days, which already had ten of his movies in it. This is a new record for Salman Khan that he has created given that Shah Rukh and Akshay Kumar have seven entries each in the Rs 100-crore club while Aamir has five.

Tubelight might be listed in the disappointment of Salman Khan’s career by the movie critics but for the fans of Bhaijaan, the film is still worth a watch. After a week of its release, the Kabir Khan directorial has entered the coveted Rs 100-crore club which has become an important parameter to decide whether a film is worth watching or not. According to a Forbes report, the film has minted Rs 106.50 crore in its first week, after being released on 4,400 screens in India. With this, Salman has added another film to his Rs 100-crore club movie list, which already had ten of his movies in it. This is a new record that Salman has created given that Shah Rukh and Akshay Kumar have seven entries each in the Rs 100-crore club while Aamir has five.
Bollywoodlife.com quotes Manoj Desai, film distributor, who revealed, “Tubelight has had poor collections. I have heard several shows have been cancelled at various multiplexes across India, but in my cinemas and many other single screens, there has been no effect. Yes, the collections have been poor, but the film is being showcased and we haven’t had to cancel any shows.”
Despite such good promotions, it seems the film was harmed by critical reviews and poor word of mouth. The reason behind the film’s failure is unknown but it seems the audience was not just ready to watch this side of Salman, who does not flex his muscles for anything or everything.

Tubelight becomes one of the biggest flop film of Salman

The film's collections make us puzzled whether it'll be able to go on its run at the cinema halls in the coming days. As a matter of fact, most of the screens have now gone on to release new film this week's new releases, and Tubelight has seen a major drop in the number of shows running.
Salman Khan’s latest released film Tubelight became one of the biggest flop film this year, and its collections makes us wonder whether it’ll be able to continue its run at the cinema halls in the coming days. The last figures we have of the film is through a report by Boxofficeindia.com, which wrote that this Eid release of Salman Khan has raked in as much as Rs 114.50 crore, in fourteen days of its release. And we know that over the period, Tubelight’s box office collections have fallen drastically. In the recent past, even Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan was rejected but not at a rapid pace like this.
